Hello, I’m Cristy—the baker and designer behind the creations at our micro-bakery on Tybee Island, Georgia, serving the Islands area.

My love of pastry began in my childhood kitchen. My mother, taught by her Czech grandmother, believed every dessert should be made from scratch and made exceptionally well. I still remember watching her prepare delicate éclairs when I was seven years old—the pastry impossibly light, the chocolate silky, the cream subtly flavored with almond. That moment quietly shaped the way I think about dessert: it should be beautiful, memorable, and deeply satisfying.

Years later, after working in a French pastry shop in Santa Cruz, I returned to baking during the pandemic, first creating cheesecakes for friends and soon developing the large, decadent cookies that would become our signature. Today, each cookie recipe is crafted in-house and inspired by classic desserts, unexpected flavor pairings, and the stories that spark imagination.

Our bakery is known for 6-ounce gourmet cookies with distinctive flavor profiles and elegant presentation. For weddings and larger celebrations, I also design refined cakes through our sister brand, BellaCrista Wedding Cakes, where flavor and artistry come together to create truly memorable centerpieces.

At the heart of everything I make is a simple philosophy: dessert should never be ordinary.
